It appears ImClone Systems Inc. wants to continue being the star of the industry news these days: the biotech has now announced that by October 1st, it expects either a solid purchase proposal or formal rejection from the unnamed company interested in acquiring the biotech, according to ImClone, at $ 70 per share. Into the picture too now comes European partner Merck KGaA, which says it could consider taking part in a potential bid.
