Mylan: FDA clears generic laxative NuLytely

The Food and Drug Administration cleared Mylan Inc. to market generic laxative version of Braintree Laboratories Inc. drug, NuLytely.

The drug, known as Polyethylene Glycol 3350, Sodium Choloride, Sodium Bicarbonate and Potassium, is an oral solution. According to IMS Health it had sales of 31 million dollars during 2009.

The drug will be available in no time, said Mylan.
