U.S. Allergan Inc. licensed to U.S. private company Serenity Pharmaceuticals LLC, experimental drug in late-stage phase, Ser 120, to treat night-time urination. Night-time urination affects patients that already have urologic conditions, such as overactive bladder and enlarged prostate, with symptoms such as frequent urge to urinate during the night. The nasal dosage drug was licensed in exchange of an initial 43 million dollar payment plus additional payments of up to 122 million dollars once objectives and royalties for global sales are achieved. Allergen already has an urologic drug called, Sanctura (Trospium) to treat overactive bladder, it had sales of 66 million dollars during 2009. Publish comment:
